Henry Lawson Birthsite The site where Australian poet and story writer Henry Lawson was born on the Grenfell gold fields.

Henry Lawson was born in a tent on a stormy night in 1867 on the claim mined by his parents.

The birth site now features BBQ facilities, a turn around for caravans and motorhomes and is close to the off leash park where you can exercise your dogs.
